Before the big ships arrived, there were the sounds of the drums of the Lnu'k, echoing through the vast forests of this beautiful and unforgiving land. They paid tribute to Gisoolg, the Creator, to Glooscap, for the life that was provided to them. For over ten thousands years, theirs were the chants to accompany the crashing waves and the strong wind of this great place by the rivers, lakes and the ocean.
