It is with great sadness that the family of the late Darius Benoit announce his passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Friday October 13, 2006 at the age of 76 years. He leaves with fond and loving memories his wife Bridget, his son Myron (Doris) in Marches Point, his two daughters: Claire (R.J.) Rue in Colorado and Sharon (Harry) Heingsman in Ontario. He also leaves to mourn his stepchildren: Mandy (Fonce) in Cape St. George, Isreal, Roxanne, Florence, Betty, Nancy, Laura, Ruth, Sadie and Annetty along with five brothers: Richard, Thomas, Maurice, Fintan and Gerard, four sisters: Annie Cornect, Helen Cornect, Thelma Benoit and Monica Benoit, five grandchildren, three great grandchildren and a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his first wife Mary. Friends may call at Our Lady of the Cape Parish on Monday from where funeral services will take place on Tuesday October 17, 2006 at 2 p.m. with interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Marches Point. Funeral arrangements are under the guidance of Russell's Funeral Home in Stephenville.
