Petition to Kempt: Petitioner is a native of French Village, age 21, single. He asks lot 13 near the French Village. This lot has been occupied by Jacques the fiddler, who has lately left the country with his family and all the good he could take with him. There is a hut on the lot and about three acres improved, which Jacques left in the care of Joseph Jessom. It is said that Jacques has absconded to avoid payment of debts. Note: Land never assigned to any, but occupied many years by Jacques LeJeune or Young. About 100 acres.
