Rules of Conduct:
(Breaking these rules are grounds for immediate dismissal)
Rules of Conduct for all employees:
- No personal long distance calls on the band phone.
- No excessive personal telephone usage on the band office phone.
- No excessive Internet usage because it ties up the band office phone.
- No loitering, friends can visit, but keep it short.
- No foul language or bad behavior whatsoever.
- When answering phone be courteous and polite. Say “Benoit First Nation, Hello” or something similar and professional.
- Please keep premises clean and tidy.
- Be respectful, professional and courteous of elders, youth, women and the community.
- No smoking permitted in the building or within 10 feet of the entrance. This is a provincial law and must never be broken.
- No alcohol or drugs permitted at the band office & centre at any time.
- No horse playing or tomfoolery.
