Rules of Conduct:

(Breaking these rules are grounds for immediate dismissal)

Rules of Conduct for all employees:

  1. No personal long distance calls on the band phone.
  2. No excessive personal telephone usage on the band office phone.
  3. No excessive Internet usage because it ties up the band office phone.
  4. No loitering, friends can visit, but keep it short.
  5. No foul language or bad behavior whatsoever.
  6. When answering phone be courteous and polite. Say “Benoit First Nation, Hello” or something similar and professional.
  7. Please keep premises clean and tidy.
  8. Be respectful, professional and courteous of elders, youth, women and the community.
  9. No smoking permitted in the building or within 10 feet of the entrance. This is a provincial law and must never be broken.
  10. No alcohol or drugs permitted at the band office & centre at any time.
  11. No horse playing or tomfoolery.
