The Benoit First Nation recently held it's annual spring drawing contest @ the local schools on the Port au Port Peninsula. There was a lot of interest and many great drawings were submitted. The theme was drawing a picture that told an aboriginal story. The following winners were selected:

Winners were selected by the drawing contest committee.
Prizes: 1st $25.00, 2nd $15.00, 3rd Prize pack, honourable mention: pizza day and gift packs. Many thanks to all those who supported and who participated in the contest. Also a note of appreciation goes out to our volunteer coordinator Donna Benoit and our Women's director Phyllis Young who organized the contest.
Many thanks to local businesses who donated towards our prizes, Piccadiilly High School, Ecole Notre Name Du Cape for their cooperation and interaction.
