Procedures involved to be removed from our band list:
For anyone who should want to transfer out of our band, for whatever reason, we have listed the steps below:
- A signed letter of resignation from you.
- You must also return the band card we issued to you.
- If necessary, please make arrangements with us to pick up your documentation. If you require your documents sent by regular mail, a $5.00 fee is required to cover postage and handling.
- Send to: Benoit First Nation, 805 Oceanview Drive, De Grau, Cape St. George, NL., Canada. A0N 1T1
- A self-addressed-stamped-envelope (A self-addressed envelope with an internation reply coupon from those living outside of Canada) is required for us to send an official release letter.
- We will then remove you from our tribal register and you will no longer considered a part of our community.
- We thank you for having been in our band and bid you farewell.
- Those wishing to be removed from the FNI general membership list should contact the FNI.
