The Benoit First nation Economic Development Officer has the responsibility to the community to ensure that the resources of our community are managed and utilized in the best interest of the Mi'kmaq people.

The overall goal of the Economic Development Office is to enhance and implement economic opportunities within the Mi'kmaq nation which will improve the economic, environmental sustainability and social equity of the Mi'kmaq community. This will be done in partnership with others groups whenever possible.
