The Benoit First nation Economic Development Committee has the responsibility to the community to ensure that the resources of our community are managed and utilized in the best interest of the Mi'kmaq people.

The overall goal of Economic Development is to enhance and implement economic opportunities within tour Mi'kmaw nation which will improve the economic, environmental sustainability and social equity of the Mi'kmaw community. This will be done in partnership with others groups whenever possible.
