Student Employment opportunity:

The Band is looking for one student for the position of Student Cultural Facilitator at minimum wage per hour for 35 hours per week. Start date on the first Monday in July for 7 weeks.

Duties include:

Organize outdoor Mi'kmaq activities for the children in the band area.
Assist with various Mi'kmaq cultural Celebrations
Fundraise to support program activities
Assist with the Teaching Days and Pow-wow activities
Maintain daily logs
Prepare final report at end of work term

Deadline for applications is last Wednesday in June at 4:00 p.m. Applications can be dropped off at the band office in De Grau or emailed to benoit1stnation@gmail.com.

Priority given to Benoit First Nation post-secondary students. All students must attach evidence of attendance in September with a college or university to their resume. For more information call any member of the band council.
